Meet Park Heights Creative Preschool teacher Mrs. Stephanie Bishop
I am thrilled to be teaching at Park Heights Creative Preschool Cooperative.
I received my Early childhood education diploma in 1993 and have been working with children in various roles ever since. I have over 30 years of experience including working as a child life specialist in the hospital and working as an Educational Assistant in the Public School system.
When my youngest daughter was born, I ran my own daycare until I was hired by BGC Saskatoon as a preschool teacher. I taught for 7 years until the preschool closed. I continue to work for BGC as a program leader in the before school program.
Preschool plays an important role in helping a child's intellectual, social, physical and emotional development. My goal is to create a safe and fun learning environment where everyone is welcome, as well as providing a strong foundation for later academic growth by creating an entertaining, engaging and creative classroom.
I love teaching.
I currently live in Saskatoon with my husband, my daughter and our dog Buddy. We have 5 children and 3 grandkids.
In my spare time I enjoy scrapbooking, crafting, going to the movies, shopping and spending time with friends and family.
I look forward to building a relationship with you and your children.
